Sunday Church School (SCS): 8:45-9:45 a.m. (Children & Youth Classes meet on lower level) Come a little early and enjoy the fellowship and refreshments (lower level)

Bible Study Groups: Men's Breakfast & Bible Study 1st & 3rd Monday's 7:00-8:00 a.m. (Basic City Lunch)

Women's Bible Study: Offered on a seasonal basis. Check the church calendar or Grace Notes for specific times, location and contact information

Pastor's Bible Study: Thursday's from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon (Conference Room, Lower Level)

Ambassador's Community for Theological Study (ACTS): a program of advanced theological inquiry for adult laypersons sponsored by the VA Synod, ELCA featuring nationally known leaders and hosted here at Grace Church. (Ask the pastor or Janice for more information)

Confirmation: A special course of study and conversation for those in grades 6-8 as preparation for making public affirmation of baptism. (Offered as part of SCS program-lower level)

Ministry with Children: Our primary programs are offered through SCS and worship with occasional special programs planned throughout the year

Youth Ministry:
Middle School: SCS/Catechism and monthly youth group gatherings are augmented by the dynamic and very popular large group gatherings and events offered through the VA Synod, ELCA

     Senior High: A special SCS class for informal study and conversation meets weekly in our comfortable and nicely equipped Youth Room. Grace Senior High youth gather each month for a special meal hosted by one of the youth and their family at their home. Fellowship outings, service projects, mission trips, regional and national youth events are also a large part of this exciting ministry

VA Synod Youth Events and ELCA National Youth Gatherings: These regional and national youth events are a regular part of our children's and youth ministry program. Grace Church helps pay for fees and most of our youth plan their year around these dynamic and faith-building experiences.

Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp: Our Congregation has a special relationship with the VA Synod Outdoor Ministry program because our own native son, Bishop V.A. Moyer, Jr. helped establish this wonderful ministry! Our Congregation offers scholarships each year to members.
